Line China mainland operation end and 360 cooperation hand peas pod

Social application Line today officially announced the hand pea pod, ending earlier and 360 of the partnership. Line and Pea pod are based on the overlap of user group features, while line also values the ability of pea pods to search and distribute in mobile phone applications. Line China's head of the region said the partnership will help line pass through pea pods to more young users and explore more bonding points.

Pea Pod provides line support in mainland China, and helps line localization in brand marketing, content resource operations, and attracting developers and content providers.

As early as the end of 2012, Line had established a partnership with 360. At that time line of the product service clause has been marked "Beijing Qihoo Technology Co., Ltd. has been [NHN company] authorized in China to promote NHN products and provide related services." Today's announcement of a partnership with pea pods means that 360 is officially out of the partnership.

Currently, line has more than 400 million users worldwide, with 50 million per cent of local users in Japan, while Thailand and Indonesia are the second and third largest markets in line, with 24 million and 20 million users. But line never announced the number of users in mainland China.
