Syntax: minicom [ -8lmmostz][-a<on or 0ff>][-c<on or off>][-c< file >][-d< number >][-p< analog terminals >][-S< Script file >][configuration file]

Supplemental Note: Minicom is a fairly popular PPP dial-up connection program.

Parameters：
-8 Do not modify any 8-bit encoded characters.
-a<on or 0ff> set the terminal properties.
-c<on or Off> sets the color mode.
-c< The file > Specifies the file, and opens the Fetch function at startup.
-d< number > Start or direct dial.
-L does not convert all characters to ASCII.
-M takes the ALT or Meta key as the instruction key.
-M is similar to the-m parameter.
-O do not initialize the modem.
-p < analog terminals > use analog terminals.
-S to open Program Settings screen.
-s<script File > Executes the specified script file at startup.
-T sets the type of terminal.
-Z Displays the status column on the terminal.
Configuration file specifies the Minicom profile.
