About life

At the end of 1984, my colleagues and I started Lenovo's predecessor.

I was born in 1944 in Shanghai, the ancestral home is Zhenjiang, Jiangsu.

About Youth

I graduated from college, and I think of life and society as elephant.

Today's rich life is far beyond our imagination. I live in the inflection point of the Chinese historical era, I hope it is possible to see China become the world's most respected country, this is my heartfelt hope that I can live to see this day.

I think that in the next ten years, a large increase in the middle class will allow domestic consumption to stimulate the Chinese economy. Before the people have no money how to boost domestic demand? It's impossible. If today there is a top-level design, system design, can really make social justice, the Chinese economy with 1.5 billion people will certainly virtuous circle. With money, a sustained and stable society, the country will continue to be strong.

About the Dream

I am particularly thankful for the great environment of reform and opening-up, which has made my Chinese dream go beyond expectations. When the reform began, I do Lenovo, there was no higher pursuit, I just want to reflect the value of their lives, I think I can do something. Who knows later, I made a higher goal, is to create a Chinese brand of computers, to compete with foreigners, unexpectedly can become ranked in the forefront of the world brand, which far exceeded my original expectations. My new expectations, is to cultivate a group of leading figures, in a few years after a number of Lenovo companies in the industry leading position, this dream is far more than my own expectations, I think my life is too valuable.

In life, I pay attention to health, I hope that when Lenovo needs me to play a role, I hope to bring joy to family and friends, I have to work hard to practice golf, I still have many want to see the book, movies, TV dramas, I also want to learn Taijiquan, there is time I still want to learn to sing. About reading

I like reading novels, and I think I can understand them from the novel.

I like to read books on history, but words are better. A book that does not love to read is the pure management of a didactic, fully defined book. In addition, I also like to read novels, from the novel I think I can understand.

Recently also quite willing to see gossip book, I contact with the company young people not much time, to understand their life is difficult, but also have no time to talk about the family, through this kind of books, movies, television, know something about the reality of young people, although very one-sided, such as "dwelling".

Reading is all about being enlightened. For example, I grew up watching "The two Kingdoms", but only now realize the truth. Is Zhuge Liang a tragic figure or a successful person?
