Load forecasting based on OpenStack service cloud Platform

Cloud computing is the main source of computing power at present, with the advantages of high reliability, high flexibility, low cost and dynamic resource sharing. However, the virtualization technology used in cloud computing generates a lot of virtual resources, which can cause load imbalance, some nodes are overloaded or even down, and some nodes are idle. Therefore, load balancing is a key research issue in cloud computing, and the goal is to distribute tasks in a balanced way to compute resources. In this paper, a resource management system based on OpenStack is proposed, and the load of each virtual machine in cloud environment is balanced by load forecasting and resource management. Load forecasting is the foundation of this system, this paper mainly introduces the method and implementation of load balancing module, and verifies by a large number of experiments. The results show that the load forecasting module can predict the relative accurate results, provide reliable data basis for load balancing and resource management system, and realize load balance function better.
