So if GIS enterprises want to grasp the opportunities brought by cloud computing, they may need to pay attention to the following points:

(1) Research the core technology of large data processing. The current GIS management data is very small, can not adapt to a wide range of service requirements. Only by mastering the core technology of large data processing can we manage the information of large quantity and complicated relationship.

(2) To study the management technology of unstructured data. The current GIS focuses on managing structured data, and in fact, the truly useful data is unstructured.
