Hunting Cloud November 22 report (Edit: Chen Feather) iphone5s launched two months, you think expensive? A recent survey from a foreign geek website has taken us from a very delicate point of view on the issue of the iphone price. It is reported that the survey of different countries (regions) of the world's GDP development level and the local iphone price ratio, and came up with an intriguing result: overall, the high per capita GDP of the country (region) The price of the iphone is relatively low. The iphone has a higher price for a country with a lower per capita GDP. Interestingly, China and the United States have become the most typical "arguments" of the above findings. The survey, which is based on the 16G version of IPhone5S, counts the price of the device as a percentage of GDP per capita in different countries (regions). The higher the ratio, the higher the price of iphone5s here. Conversely, it can be considered relatively inexpensive. From these statistics, we find that the price of iphone5s in the United States (not the contract price) is 649 U.S. dollars (pre-tax), accounting for about 1.15% of GDP per capita. In China, the price of iphone5s is about 867 U.S. dollars, accounting for about 9.55% of GDP per capita. Even after the US iphone5s tax of $707, the iphone is still priced far higher in China than in the US. In particular, after comparing ourselves to GDP per capita, we find that even though Americans are earning more than us, they are buying the iphone at a lower price. Such a conclusion seems to have a certain universality. We can cite another example: the price of iphone5s in the UK is about USD 740 (after taxes of $884), accounting for about 2.42% of GDP per capita in Britain. In contrast, iphone5s in less developed countries, India, Vietnam, the price is 760 U.S. dollars (after taxes of 858 U.S. dollars) and 682 U.S. dollars (after taxes of 750 U.S. dollars). Accounted for 22.32% of India's GDP per capita, accounting for 19.79% per cent of the country's GDP. It is not hard to find that the price of iphone5s in these three countries is not much different, but because of the varying levels of national income, Indian and Vietnamese consumers need to make more money to buy the iphone. Still, consumers in less-developed regions are not losing to consumers in the developed world in terms of overall purchasing power. IPhone5S is said to have sold more than $1000 in Turkey and Jordan, but many people are still snapping up the price. Maybe it really is "tyrants always have, this year is very much!"
