Loose coupling:

Loose coupling usually refers to the message based architecture, where the client and the remote service do not know how the other is implemented, and the communication between the client and the service is governed by the schema of the message. As long as the message conforms to the negotiated schema, the implementation of the client or service can be changed as needed without fear of damaging the other. Loosely coupled communication mechanisms provide many of the advantages that tight coupling mechanisms do not have, helping to reduce dependencies between client and remote services.
