Ludien: Improving the transparency of purchasing resources is beneficial to China's economic development

On the morning of November 6, in a speech at the "New Economic Landscape" Forum at Caixin, the chairman of the Financial services Group of Zurich, Asia-Pacific and Middle East, Ludien said that increasing the transparency of purchasing resources would ensure the development of China's economy. Jeff Ludien believes that the country's development needs a stable resource supply chain.　　He said China has recognized the problem, but its approach to resource issues may have caused some backlash in the world.　　"The biggest problem China has in terms of resources is lack of transparency," he said, and a rise in transparency would help other developments. In the past, Jeff said, the country would have waged wars for resources, but that would not work in today's world.　　Therefore, countries need to adopt new ways to ensure the supply of resources.　　Jeff argues that China needs to increase the transparency of its commodities trading, to let the world know about China's real resources, and to change the way countries think about buying Chinese resources.
