Mainland China's second largest female CEO ratio

(reporter Jianlidong) recently released 2011 "International Business Questionnaire Survey Report" shows that Chinese female workers break through the professional "ceiling" to become the proportion of business executives are increasing. According to the survey, female executives accounted for 34% of China's business management in the surveyed companies, rising steadily compared with 2009 (31%) and 2007 (32%).　　Among female executives, the CEO position is as high as 19%, well above the global 8% average, ranking second in the world. Thailand (45%), followed by Georgia (40%) and Russia (30%), while Japan (8%) and the United Arab Emirates (8%) had the lowest percentage of female executives, according to the survey. The survey also found that the proportion of female CEOs in the Asia-Pacific region (except Japan) was significantly higher than in Europe and the United States, with Thailand (30% per cent), followed by mainland China (19%) and Taiwan (18%).　　The proportion of EU countries and North America is only 9% and 5%. In the position of female executives in China, female executives are among the top financial elites, with CFO or CFO ranking at 69%, followed by human resources director (43%), Sales Director (37%) and Operations Director (23%). In proportion, many female executives often have multiple jobs in the business, involving finance, manpower, sales and operations.
