Flying Elephant Network (compiled 文慧) according to foreign media reports, Green Chi Communications subsidiary Packet One Network Limited chief executive Michael Rai (Michael Lai) in Singapore in Thursday Asia Communication Exhibition (CommunicAsia) The audience at the scene expressed why he thought the Malaysian WiMAX operators were turning to LTE for several reasons. "By using non-aligned spectrum, you can determine the uplink and downlink according to your needs," Mr Lai said. This ability becomes more and more important as the amount of data generated by the user is gradually increasing. "The downlink link to the uplink (data communication) ratio (on the Packetone Company's WiMAX network) is currently about 3:1. In the past and even 5:1, we found that consumer-generated content is growing. "The Packetone company announced in April this year that it plans to convert its WiMAX network to a LTE network and to conduct on-site tests by the end of 2011." Mr Lai said the company's LTE test results showed its peak download speed of up to 130Mbps, almost three times times the current WiMAX network 45Mbps. The company plans to deploy a separate LTE network outside its existing WiMAX network because the former currently has a variety of applicable equipment and a good market environment. When companies are confronted with the opportunity to buy infrastructure for their new network, manufacturers should not expect to be able to easily pass. "If the supplier says to you that you don't sound right, then you should question what they say," Mr Lai said. He said that when Packetone was established in August 2008, the company pursued a single supplier strategy, but the implementation of the strategy was not as good as he had expected. Referring to past experiences, he said: "Network deployment is a painful process." "He said, without naming the culprit. He added: "[every supplier] has a huge team of lawyers, probably bigger than your entire company ... You know exactly what you're up against, so you have to find a way to get rid of it. "At the end of the first quarter of 2011, Packetone company had a total of 305,000 users, and the number of competition accounted for 12% of the total market." "Our new users account for 24% of the total market in the areas our network can cover," Mr Lai said. ”
