May National electricity output continued to decline and narrow

But in most of the areas where energy-intensive industries are concentrated, electricity generation is still hovering low.　　In May, the power consumption in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous region of Shanxi province decreased from 5% to 6%, higher than the national level.　　In the south-east coastal region, electricity consumption in Guangdong province has declined by about 10%, and Shanghai's electricity consumption has fallen by about 13.6%, and in Zhejiang Province by about 6.1% per cent, above the national average.
