Recently, according to foreign media reports, Sharethis is a well-known social services sharing service website, it wants to let publishers more in-depth understanding of their social sharing strategy implementation status. For this sharethis has launched two new tools: SQI Analytics Dashboard and SQI Lookup, the introduction of these two applications to better measure the publisher's "Social quality", and its future development prospects, we will wait and see.
SQI refers to "social quality indicators (Social Quality index)". Sharethis introduced the index last fall, and its data came from Web pages embedded in the Sharethis social-sharing widget, which says its publisher network contains 1.4 million sites. SQI takes a 10-point system (from 1 to 10) that shows how a publisher's social traffic compares to other sites of the same category.
Introduction to Sharethis's SQI tools
SQI has been a more general concept. But Sharethis has since yesterday provided SQI Analytics Dashboard and Sqi Lookup to publishers. The former shows publishers ' own social-sharing data, such as sharing, clicks, and traffic. Next, if publishers want to browse through all the top sites of 27 categories (such as technology, tourism, sports, etc.), they can use the SQI Lookup tool for some good practice.
Kurte Abrahansen Kurt Abrahamson, the company's CEO, said in March this year that SQI's aim was not just to drive traffic. He believes that people who are actively involved in social interaction are also most likely to accept ads, so publishers with SQI scores are also invaluable to advertisers, even if their audience size is small.
To verify the idea, Sharethis and Wendy's have collaborated on two activities, one on a website without SQI and the other on SQI's high scores. The results show that the latter is 209% of the former, and the registration rate is 234%.
