Sina Science and technology news Beijing time of February 11, chip manufacturer Microchip Marvell Inc (MCHP) announced in Monday, has agreed to buy 394 million of dollars in cash acquisition of high-pressure analog and mixed signal chip manufacturer Supertex Inc. to strengthen its medical, Supply of LED lighting, industry and telecommunications. Under the agreement, Microchip will pay $33 for each share of Supertex shares, a premium of $35% over the Friday closing price of the unit. The deal is expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year. Microchip expects the first quarter after the deal to be completed to help boost its adjusted earnings per share.
