January 8, according to foreign media reports, Microsoft announced in Tuesday that it will acquire cloud software manufacturer Parature, which can help enterprise users manage help services and provide other customer support services.
Parature software can help enterprise users to provide automated customer service, manage network forums and conduct online surveys.
Parature's clients include Ask.com, EPA, IBM and Saba software.
Microsoft did not disclose the specific terms of the deal.
The deal will boost Microsoft's Dynamics business. The Microsoft Dynamics Department is mainly responsible for developing commercial software, whose clients include mattress Firm, Pandora media and Nissan cars.
Cloud computing has now become a new trend for corporate users to pay close attention to, and cloud computing services have many advantages, such as faster deployment, lower lead costs, and so on.
Oracle announced last December that it would buy Responsys, a cloud-based marketing software maker, to boost its cloud computing business, which was priced at about $1.39 billion trillion.
Salesforce.com, the world's largest online sales management tool software maker, announced last June that it would buy ExactTarget, a marketing software firm, at $2.5 billion trillion, which could help corporate users communicate with customers via mobile devices on social networks.
Microsoft shares rose about 1% in early Tuesday, to $36.41.
