Microsoft buys iOS Email application acompli Outlook will improve?

Technology website Recode said the deal was worth more than 200 million dollars. With the acquisition of Acompli, Microsoft's influence on Apple's iOS platform will continue to expand. Acompli is a popular mobile email client, first launched on the iphone earlier this year. Rajesh Jeha Rajesh Jha, Microsoft Outlook and Office corporate Vice president, announced the deal on the company's official blog in Monday. He said the deal was part of the company's ongoing strategy to provide the best productivity experience on the mobile platform. Microsoft plans to integrate Acompli with its Outlook team, which means that Microsoft's email application is likely to make significant changes. Acompli CEO Javille Soltro (Javier Soltero) said the deal enabled Microsoft and Acompli to pursue a better, faster and more powerful email experience. Acompli is a free email application for Apple's iphone and ipad, integrating Microsoft Exchange, Outlook.com, Hotmail, MSN, Office 365 and Apple icloud, Google Gmail, Yahoo and other apps.
