"Bross believes that the growth of users is due to Microsoft last year to extend the Xbox Live service to 9 new countries. Since January this year, Xbox Live users have increased by 5 million people. Bross did not give individual data on the number of Xbox Live Gold members and free users, but said his game download service (XBLA) Exchange had exceeded its membership annual fee revenue.
