Q: Cloud computing is a very important strategy for Microsoft in the 2010 and has released many products, including some products from Windows 7 and Office cloud Computing, what is Microsoft's future technology development strategy? A: Because of the development of technology, the concept of cloud computing can be realized quickly. Although it is about cloud computing, we think it should be cloud computing, because there are things that need to be done in the end, so moving terminals have very special functions. In 2010, 70% of our engineers were working with the cloud, and 2011 years would reach 90%.  Q: How do you describe the entire Microsoft Cloud roadmap? A: I think the most important thing now is the definition, for cloud computing, now each person's definition is not the same. Our definition is that the first is to be open, not closed; the second is to go through the Internet; The third is to have a flexible charging method; Four is a very good platform, take a more open way, many partners can put inside.  So from this definition, we are a little different from other companies, because some are relatively closed, some are using cloud technology, may charge is not so, without the flexibility of fees, I think the meaning of the cloud is gone. We have worked with both consumers and businesses over the past more than 30 years, so our cloud platform also covers all users. This is not the same as other companies, some companies are more focused on business, some focus on consumers. We do a wide range, and later all of our business is in the base of the cloud. Because of the cloud, you can use some applications anytime, anywhere, there may be different terminals, and this is our strength.  Therefore, we are the terminal and platform integration, which is the same as China's three-net fusion concept.  In addition, we do a cloud platform to do some horizontal application in the cloud platform, so that our partners can make full use of our platform to play their strengths.  Q: What do you think of the profit model of cloud computing in China? A: Making money is very simple, is the full use of cloud computing platform resources, so the platform must be large, because a big benefit of the cloud is to avoid duplication of construction, so we want to do enterprise-level communication is very good, and then put all the resources together to fully use; second, from the value added to the customer,  Must let the customer feel our this platform is good, must give us the money to use.  Q: What do you think is the most difficult part of Microsoft in the process of advancing cloud computing? A: It is not difficult, it must be overcome. One is ChineseRegulations, not only China, in fact, the world is facing the same problem-cloud computing is like the Internet, when the internet just came out when people do not know what is going on, the law is not up, so now there are the same problem. For example, foreign companies come in, is not necessarily a joint venture? Because the current regulations are actually for Internet content providers, so called ICP Certification. But what we offer is a platform to apply inside, so it's not the same thing. The second problem is that national outreach is not the same as the ability of every place. Without good communication technology, the cloud will not be fully exploited.  Third, we need to have a lot of applications, how to bring all of our partners to our platform, which takes time. Q: Cloud computing is a very complex system, and the original Microsoft business model is not the same, we need to build an ecosystem.  One of the details of this question is, how do you divide the interests with these partners? A: I think it's very simple. Because to see where our strengths are? The first is technology. Second, we have a lot of resources, whether people or money. We're going to build those big cloud computing centers where all the partners do what they're supposed to do on the platform. If done well, it is actually very beneficial to the whole ecological environment, it is also very helpful to the whole Chinese IT industry, so we will take the form, the partner cast application in the inside, we have to build the platform-whether it is hardware or software or partners to collect the service money, according to the amount of resources occupied, Share risks and profits together.  As for who take the majority of interests, to be specific, because everything depends on the value-added of customers.  Q: Cloud Computing in China, first of all in which areas open the breach? A: I think two areas: one is a private cloud within a large enterprise. For example, China Mobile can make a private cloud, all the resources to focus on virtualization, the full use of resources, this is the most basic; You can also try to put some applications in the cloud in public, mobile customers can go to use, such as audit list, I think this thing is relatively slow.  This is just an example, I do not know whether China Mobile is doing this thing. The other is small and medium-sized enterprises, some basic applications. For example, ERP, small and medium-sized enterprises are difficult to use SAP a millions of-dollar system, but if there is a cloud ERP center, you can pay how much, so the small and medium-sized enterprises can do a certain application quickly. It is also possible that we recently announced office365, not only the various functions of office, but also the functionality of our internal unified communications, such as the functions of various remote conferencing.  In the past, these software need customers to buy their own, need a lot of money, buy hardware to buy software, in the cloud computing mode, every one months to pay some money to enjoy all the applications, this is one of the direction. These are business aspects, consumers are actually very simple, such as games, but alsoTo take full advantage of cloud technology.  Q: What changes will the cloud computing model bring to the future of Microsoft's operating model, including performance appraisal and organizational structure? A: Our industry is changing, whether we do clouds or clouds, we will change. Of course, in terms of operations, we will have a planned transition, because we knew it would go this way early. Now is the customer needs our product, we can provide. One Direction we will develop in the future is what applications and services our partners need, which I can provide. The charge is a bit different, today is what I offer you have two options: one is with our current business agreement, or another need to upgrade and pay.  In the future, in the cloud computing model, how much to pay, the charge is based on a monthly fee, or for each transaction to charge. As for the change in organizational structure, half of it is not. Q: What is your impression of China's entire 2010-year commercial market, including the IT market? A: The first development is too fast. I think the second is that the direction of development is still relatively positive. However, compared with other places, I think we still do not develop fast enough, so I advocate industry-related companies and people, should be together to help China's IT industry to develop faster. We develop fast, hardware faster than software, but I think China should develop software more quickly. In contrast to other countries, I think we can grow in this respect.  Then I think there is progress in intellectual property protection, but this is not fast enough, and it is directly related to why our software has not developed so quickly.  Q: What are your pre-award for the 2011 IT market? A: First, there should be more visible progress in intellectual property protection. I think it is very important that our industry should also cooperate with the Government in this matter. Second, in the cloud should be a relatively large development, whether the company to use cloud computing or cloud computing inside some of the technology platform development, I think it will be relatively fast.  Third, from the hardware, I think the PC China will surpass the United States, and China after the United States, the United States will not be the first. Q: The period you are in is just a very big transition, which is different from the challenges of several predecessors. Do you feel that way now? A: I absolutely agree with this view. I make a simple analogy: our cheapest office software is now sold to students of the 119-yuan student version, may be many students 1 months mobile phone charges more than this number, but there is piracy. But small payments are more common in China, they are acceptable to them, cloud computing fees have similar concepts, so I agree with you that this will help us solve some of the piracy problems. How to combine Chinese culture with new technology is a big problem we are facing now.  The fight against piracy is still a long way, the United States is education, but also the law, there are still more than 20% piracy rate. Q: Back to the issue of ecological environment, Microsoft has been in the development of the entire normative ecological environment to do something specifically?  For example, have not considered using their own financial advantages, to do some investment funds. A: It's all there.
