Microsoft has a piece of Windows Azure in the cloud computing market

Like Amazon and Google (Weibo), Microsoft intends to share a slice of its cloud computing market with its Windows Azure. Microsoft has been trying to get into the start-up customer market, which has previously been an Amazon customer base, and Amazon has been fighting for big corporate clients, which have previously been Microsoft's customer base.

It's hard to say whether Amazon's strategy will work, but Microsoft's $ billions of trillion in cloud computing business is clearly developing well.

"Azure's user base has grown to 250,000 companies, including 50% of Fortune 500 companies," wrote Steven Martin, general manager of Azure, in a blog post on the company's website, Steven Martin.

According to Martin, the service adds an average of 1000 business users a day. It is not clear whether these new customers will remain on the platform after the promotion period ends.

The increase in Azure service usage is closely related to the growth of market demand. Azure Services now receive an average of 270,000 instructions per second, or up to 800,000 peaks.
