Not long ago, Microsoft released a personal voice assistant, Cortana, based on Bing, at the build developer conference. Supported by the Bing platform, Cortana is able to help users personalize their use of Windows Phone 8.1 by learning the user's behavior and interests.
Microsoft has not limited Cortana technology to Windows Phone. Today, Microsoft has launched a series of personalized cards on the Bing homepage to record what users care about (the feature has not yet been supported in Chinese and the display language can be adjusted to English trial). In the Bing Setup you can set up personalized news, weather, flights, stock and other information, and will add more content in the future.
According to Microsoft, the technology "comes from years of experience in web search for machine learning and large data mining." Once users have selected the interest, they will be able to receive notifications on "Most Windows devices" and applications for Bing support.
This new feature allows users to use Bing to record their habits and personal interests on different platforms, even without using WP smartphones. Google has launched a similar cross-platform personalization service Google Now. Microsoft's introduction of personalized settings is a good place to start.
