Microsoft's charm will be used in the newly disclosed Windows 8 operating system. The blog site TechCrunch points out that Microsoft has so far not registered microsoftcharm.com or windowscharm.com website, providing a chance for the malicious website registrant.

On the Touchpad Windows 8 operating system, sliding the display from the right hand direction displays the charm function. In the traditional keyboard and mouse system, in the lower left corner of the display can access this feature.

Charm features include:

• Search: Allow users to search the operating system or all applications.

• Sharing: Applications that use search contracts can share data through this feature.

• Start: Let the user return to the Start screen.
