Microsoft is interested in acquiring Android third party ROM team Cyanogen

Presumably for most Android users, CyanogenMod is a familiar name, as the famous Android third-party ROM is favored by many users and developers, and even many ROMs are modified on this basis. Recently, foreign media the information learned that Microsoft's incumbent CEO, Barnard, has been discussing with the ROM production team Cyanogen, with a view to expanding the company's mobile business. In addition, several technology companies, including Amazon, Samsung and Yahoo, have expressed keen interest in the team, continuing to see if there are potential partners or acquisitions. But this does not mean that Microsoft has begun to try to develop Android as Plan B, possibly because Microsoft is more focused on Cyanogen team talent than on their actual Android program. For the Cyanogen team, the company has started hiring executives from EA and Facebook to prepare for the upcoming C-round financing.
