Microsoft launches cloud Accelerator in China first to introduce 10 start-up teams

On the morning of July 9, Microsoft officially launched its first venture accelerator, the "Cloud Accelerator", in China at the end of last week. Microsoft will provide free office space for selected projects, Windows Azure cloud computing platform, Office software, and entrepreneurial guidance. The first phase of the Microsoft Cloud Accelerator, a 6-month period (from July 2012 to the end of December 2012), will pick up 10 teams in nearly 50 start-ups, starting with information aggregation, gaming social platforms, mobile application development, smartphone application testing platforms, corporate networking, and more.
