Microsoft reshuffle management: appoint three department heads

Microsoft announced in Monday the appointment of three senior executives responsible for its cloud services, equipment and Xbox gaming Department, the first management reshuffle of the new CEO Satia Nadra Satya Nadella, the company said in the early hours of April 1. Nadra said in a memo that he would also be involved in XOBX's development business as head of the hardware business. Speculation about the future fortunes of the Xbox sector has surfaced years ago, with some analysts and Microsoft insiders thinking the sector could be spun off. When Microsoft looked for its next CEO last year, Bloomberg reported that Elop, who was a popular candidate for his successor, was more likely to sell the department, but his ideas have probably changed since then. Nadra announced last week the launch of an office suite for Apple Mobile, his first public appearance since taking over Microsoft's CEO, and hinted that he would shift Microsoft's focus away from giving the Windows operating system a top priority at the expense of other businesses.
