ComScore has just released a July US 82.2 million-person smartphone, accounting for about one-third of consumers and echoing Flurry's research report. Flurry points out that because of the higher average income of consumers who hold smartphones, advertisers are more willing to invest in mobile advertising budgets, which are expected to reach $1.1 billion trillion this year.
