CWT (Carlson wagonlit Travel), a travel management company, has recently reported that there will be a rapid growth in the market for mobile-end bookings over the next three years. By 2017, the mobile end of the travel reservation will account for 25% of the total online booking.
CWT also makes a comparison to illustrate the intensity of this increase-the level of activity the mobile-end booking tool can achieve over the next three years, and it takes 8 years for the PC-side online booking tool to reach it.
According to CWT analysis, business travellers in the Asia-Pacific region will be more willing to accept the form of mobile-side bookings, with a population rate of around 62%, higher than 55% in North America and 45% in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), which may be a big boon for Chinese entrepreneurs.
Finally, CWT says 62% of the surveyed business travellers are using the company's mobile phone, while 56% of the companies surveyed have been or are ready to introduce BYOD policies into the company.
