LinkedIn debut in China
"Our vision is to create business opportunities for global professionals and create the world's first economic map," said Shen Bo Yang, vice president and vice president of LinkedIn China, at the conference. "LinkedIn will combine the B2C model with the B2B model," said Shen in his speech discussing LinkedIn's business model. He said at the C-side, LinkedIn provides members with professional social networks that appeal to members through social effects. Shen Bo Yang said LinkedIn is actively trying to localization, and Weibo WeChat to discuss in-depth cooperation. At present, users can bind WeChat and LinkedIn to display "LinkedIn Business Card" in WeChat for professional identification. "The cooperation with WeChat is the first step in our mobile layout."
It is also worth mentioning that LinkedIn China is a joint venture with Sequoia Capital and Broadband Capital. Shen Boyang said that the reason for choosing a joint venture is to enable LinkedIn China to operate independently. Tango or Ali into a ring of globalization
Tango, which has just won Alibaba's $ 215 million investment in March, also took part in the conference. The co-founder and CEO Yuri Raz disclosed the details of the cooperation with Ali.
Yuri Raz said despite its stake in the company, the majority of Tango's markets are still in the United States, as few Western Internet companies are currently successful in China. Talking about the differentiating advantages of Tango, Yuri Raz said that Tango is not only a social platform for video and audio, but also includes music, dating, games and other factors. Facebook moved from desktop to mobile
