The Employment Outlook survey covers more than 61,000 companies worldwide, including 4,194 mainland Chinese companies. China's mainland is expected to increase its workforce by 53% in the fourth quarter, with a 2% per cent reduction in the number of employees, compared with a net employment outlook of +51%, up 24% from the third quarter. The six major sectors surveyed showed unprecedented positive recruitment expectations. The service sector ranks top of the six industries with a net employment outlook of 51%. followed by the finance, insurance and real estate industry, wholesale and retail trade, the Net Employment Outlook index is 50%, 47% respectively. The net employment outlook for manufacturing, transport and utilities is 43%. Mining and construction employers are slightly more cautious than other sectors, with a net employment outlook of 38%. Experts say that as the labor market picks up, companies are becoming more focused, hiring confidence is getting more active, and job seekers will get more job opportunities.
