Google has acquired DrawElements, a Finnish 3D graphics technology company.
Although the details of the transaction were not disclosed, foreign media Arcticstartup reported that Google's offer was over $ 10 million.
DrawElements' technology helps developers test multiple GPU products on different mobile devices. Since Android systems are often run on a wide range of devices with different hardware specifications, the acquisition of DrawElements technology will be of great help to Google.
"We are pleased to announce that we are joining Google Inc. Thanks to everybody who helped us with our development, we thank you for your support." DrawElements said in its official website statement that "in the coming months, we Work with colleagues from the Android development team to embed our technology in the latter's compatibility testing toolkit. Please be patient. "
Upon completion of the acquisition, most of the managers of DrawElements will relocate to Google's California headquarters. The remaining few will remain in Finland.
