Motorola has always been transparent to users in the Android 4.0 ICS system update process. Motorola recently unveiled a list of new machines for the upcoming ICS update, with the first batch of phone updates starting in the second quarter of this year. Since Verizon Xoom is the only model in the testing phase, it is natural that it will receive the ICS update first. The next thing to come is the Droid RAZR and Maxx, as well as the international version of RAZR, XOOM WiFi and the domestic licensed models MT917 and XT928, and the other models of mobile phones will have to wait until the third quarter or even longer to receive updates. The ICS update for all models will be released early in the third quarter, followed by Atrix 2, Atrix 4G, Droid 4, Droid Bionic and Xoom 2 Xyboard. Of course, this is just a tentative schedule for Motorola, and if you happen to be Moto's Android device user, check out the form for your phone.
