Motorola appoints senior vice president of global Mobile Equipment business

CNET Science and Information Network April 20 International report Motorola said Monday that Mark Shockley, a senior vice president for the Global Mobile Devices business unit, was named Mark Shockley, responsible for the global sales operations of the mobile sector.　　He will report directly to Motorola's joint CEO and Mobile Equipment and home business unit CE0 Sanjay. Motorola recently restructured 4 major business units to prepare for the break-up of two listed companies in 2011. Mobile devices and Family Department CEO Sanjay is responsible for the manufacturing of cell phones and cable TV set-top boxes. Another company is made up of Motorola's mobile and network businesses.　　Enterprise Mobile Department is responsible for two-way radio service, the network department is responsible for wireless network system. Shockley joined Motorola in 1979, and recently served as Senior vice president and general manager of the U.S. Regional Department for Motorola mobile devices.
