MythTV v0.24.1 releases Linux digital video recorder tools

MythTV 0.24.1 is a maintenance version that includes a new screen user interface, Blu-ray support, High-definition audio support, and multi-angle support.

MythTV function:

A backend server and front-end client architecture that allows multiple front-end clients to view the contents of one or more back-end servers remotely. A stand-alone computer can be both a front-end client and a back-end server. A back-end server has multiple TV mediation cards at the same time. Selectively analyze content to eliminate advertising. Speed up or slow down the playback of content, with the option to adjust the tone. Intelligent pre-recorded function to avoid video time overlap. Provides data interfaces for TV listings and provides program data through XMLTV in areas outside the United States and Canada. Pause, skip, and replay live TV. Default and run system functions via web interface. Supports ATSC and DVB HD TV formats. The decoder/Machine box is controlled by infrared remote control (irblaster).
