Foreign http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/31646.html "> media reported that the head of NASA's affiliates said they wanted to make the cloud platform a platform to support future space and space project projects.
NASA's IT department CTO Tom Soderstrom and software engineer Khawaja Shams, said at a recent Re:invent conference meeting, JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory, The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, under NASA, is using a cloud platform to support the American Curiosity rover (Mars Curiosity rover) and other interstellar engineering.

The Mars rover has many historic discoveries on the Red planet, using Amazon's vast computing and storage platform to support Mars rover and data processing in the Mars exploration program.
All two officials agree that the Rover program is part of the entire platform for porting JPL employees to cloud computing services. Since 2008, it has been struggling with economic conditions and tighter budgets, requiring IT staff to stop buying more physical servers.
As the agency began to adopt cloud computing, developers also migrated low risk platforms such as Web applications into the cloud. Later JPL found that cloud systems were good at providing critical applications and protecting applications.
Next year, JPL plans to further expand the cloud platform. Many of the projects include the storage of cloud platforms, the delivery of applications to scientists, and not the traditional requirement for scientists to download source code and compile.
