National large data Analysis and research center established in Ireland

Recently, the Irish government announced the completion of the National large Data Analysis Research Center--insight. The center is invested € 38 million by the Government, with 30 million euros invested by 4 leading data research institutes in Ireland and more than 40 world-renowned enterprises, including Dublin City University, Galway University, University of Cork, Dublin University, Microsoft, IBM, HP, Cisco, AVAYA, Intel, and so on. The center is the largest of the seven world-class research centres planned to invest € 300 million in the Irish Science Foundation. The government hopes to build a large data analysis and research center with the nature of "international navigation mark". The center aims to develop next-generation data analysis and large data technology in cooperation with enterprises, including machine learning, data mining, data optimization and decision analysis, and media analysis. At the same time, Insight will undertake the field of data in the doctoral and master stage of senior talent training task to solve the current data analysis talent shortage problem.

According to the introduction, the global market demand for large data growth rate of 40% per year, the national capital investment also to 30% annual growth rate, the market is still in short supply state.
