NEC uses cloud computing to deploy a new digital archiving system for the Tokyo Metropolitan Library

Recently, NEC applied Cloud computing http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/14307.html "> Service Product" gprime for SaaS/library, and deployed a new digital archiving system for the Tokyo State Library. The Tokyo State Library will officially open this service, entitled "Tokyo Archive", starting May 23.

The "Tokyo Archive", which digitized about 16,000 of the archives of the Metropolitan Library, was administered in a meta-management format and made public to the public according to different classifications. The introduction of the "Tokyo Archiving" service not only facilitates the reader's book retrieval, but also greatly improves the operability of the staff in the data login, update and elimination steps.
