In recent days, Japanese design company Information Architects has designed a new Twitter feature: If a user posts a Twitter message with an incorrect content, it can be labeled "wrong" without having to delete the entire message. The strikethrough will allow fans to stop speculating about the sudden disappearance of Twitter messages, causing trouble. This may solve the problem that Twitter does not allow changes to the microblogging content.
Twitter does not currently allow users to modify published messages to avoid a timeline of confusion. Therefore, if the published content is incorrect, even if only the word is misspelled, the user will have to delete the entire message and republish it. Information architects hope to solve this problem.
The company has designed a button called "Mark as Error". After the user selects the message content, click the button to add a strikethrough to the message. This way, the user's fans will understand that the message is problematic and wait for the user to post more messages. If deleted directly, fans will find a message suddenly disappear, will inevitably guess behind the "truth", causing more misunderstanding.
Of course, this feature needs to be recognized and accepted by Twitter. Some analysts believe that this approach will lead to more complex information flow of Twitter, the user experience is not conducive. But many netizens say they have "long awaited" the function.
