New Oriental May 16 held annual shareholder meeting

Beijing time May 4 Morning News, the new Oriental (nyse:edu) will hold the annual shareholder meeting in Hong Kong 10:30 Beijing time May 16.

There are no proposals for new Oriental to be submitted to shareholders for approval at this meeting. The shareholders ' meeting will be an open forum for shareholders and new Oriental American Depository Shares (ADSS) to provide them with the opportunity to communicate with the management of the company.

The new Oriental Board of Directors has decided that the March 28 business hours as the date of registration, before this date holders of new Oriental shares will receive the annual general meeting notice, as well as the relevant date adjustment or deferred notice.

New Oriental has submitted its annual report to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which includes audited earnings for the fiscal year ended May 31, 2013. Investors can get the report through the Investor Relations page of the new Oriental website or the Securities and Exchange Commission website.
