Beijing, also Zhuang Yun World Congress 2013 on December 12 in the village of Creative Living Plaza. This Cloud World Congress takes "Cloud now" as the theme, revolves "The trend development World cloud" and "The Independent Innovation China Cloud" two main lines. Continuation of the Beijing Silicon Valley dialogue "a tale of twins" tradition, from Silicon Valley's top cloud computing experts, the cloud computing industry's top companies and China's Internet and cloud computing sector leading companies, people, through technology, innovation, investment, trends and other aspects of the collision, interpretation of the nature of cloud computing, trends, innovative At the same time, participants will be 0 distance from China's cloud computing in recent years of development results.

AME Cloud Ventures Nick Adzms in the 2013 Cloud World Congress from mobile, data-driven medical, hardware three major aspects of data application. Here is Nick Adzms's full speech:

Nick adzms: Thank you, Jerry. Glad to be home. First I want to talk about three trends in data applications.

Let's introduce the background. Ame is like an angel investment company, in Silicon Valley we can see many 3-5 years of seed stage companies, some companies will become big companies. These creations in Silicon Valley are based on the cloud.

I like this picture very much, it may be able to show that the future of the city is built on the cloud, not under the cloud.

The introduction of cloud and O2O,O2O means online to online. The second is how the whole industry is driven by data, and the future industry will be driven by data, which is very exciting. Third, the explosion of equipment, not just smart phones, all devices can be built on low-cost platforms. This is what I think is the third trend seen in Silicon Valley.

First look at the move. Mobile changed our lives, the earliest mobile phone, this is a very old Motorola or Nokia mobile phones, the earliest video game consoles and so on. In 2007, Jobs took out a completely computer-like thing and took it out of his pocket, which changed the whole rules of the game. It was used in the 2010, with an Apple logo on it. We were very excited and now everyone has a smartphone. I use this picture because it's taken from 2005 to 2011, when the pope took office, the smartphone coverage was more than 1/2 of the developed world, and almost every 1/5 of the population had a smartphone. Now that it has changed the rules of the market, this change has just begun.

Uber is a company that they do is take out a cell phone, not necessarily a taxi, can be ordinary people's car cars, you tell them where to go, they can take you there. You can use your mobile phone to find the destination you want to go to, and then pay, which can be done through smart phones. People who have never been to the United States, now many people have a Christmas tree in the home, decorate the door, many people are carrying a Christmas tree, Uber can provide the Christmas tree service, spend 100 of dollars to be able to order a Christmas tree through smartphones. This is completely logistics, through the mobile phone to the offline is very exciting.

All applications of the brain are so in the clouds above. Our pockets are now all loaded with computers, and you can get a certain service by shaking the way. The services we offer can be very easy from point A to point B and can be achieved by Uber. such as a company Washio you can send your clothes to wash, they will come to fetch. Such companies are exploding. So it is the cloud, the Internet that enables this online service to be realized on line.

You can order by phone, with recipes and dishes. You can also shop online. One of the newest applications is the ability to get private drivers to help you transport a point to point B. The data is back in the cloud, making services better and service improving.

When it comes to industry segmentation, where everyone is driving a van, there are so many industries that they can change through logistics and can order a lot of services through smartphones. The future of China's cloud is the physical economy that allows ordinary consumers to interact with mobile phones.

The second is the development of data-driven medical care. I am also very interested in this aspect, because the opportunity is very big. Now there are a lot of devices, one arm to put three devices, the concept is that we can collect some personal data, so that efficiency becomes more. These companies will give some feedback by testing your pulse to know that you are bending over. One company is doing 3D, the other is doing medical health information data collection. There are also legal companies that collect professional data and integrate it on the same platform. There is also the consumer data, IT industry has a business, he is based on the application of mail. Now are the data-driven industries.

Including the human resources aspects of some enterprises, mainly to do quantitative analysis of human resources. Energy, education, oil and gas, capital, finance, logistics and so on, many enterprises are data driven by the establishment. So I think there are many opportunities.

The third trend is about hardware. In Silicon Valley, for example, there are many revolutions, like the advent of Yahoo. Hardware, such as smartphones, mobile internet, software, all change the pattern of the Internet. But now we have another layer of hardware, called the IoT, which is based on the development of the Internet. It turned out to be a network of hardware, and now it is the hardware that is built on the network, and the main reason is that the cost of hardware has been falling. So the cost is also cheaper, the sensors connected by the Internet and other software link them together.

This is the machine that looks funny, and the result is that these technologies are evolving in Silicon Valley. This is a hamburger machine, a very famous investor in Silicon Valley. By connecting the hardware and equipment together, you can make burgers automatically. These businesses are what we call incubators, they are early companies, mainly hardware. On the hardware side, in Silicon Valley everyone is particularly crazy about hardware. This is what I call the explosive side of the device.

A company called the Sea Cool, scan the information into the cloud, you can place an order. What you see on the floor of the mall can be purchased by scanning. There is also a device that has a sensor on your waist and a golf device to track your golf performance. Another business is satellite, mainly collecting satellite data, all of which are related to the Internet. These are different separate data and devices, but the most important thing is to build hardware on the Internet.

This is 28 satellites, small satellites are cheap hundreds of thousands of dollars, it is actually a sensor, can be outside the earth for data collection.

Finally, simply say what AME is. I worked with Jerry for more than a year, and Jeff Chung, my colleagues, joined in. We are actually a multi-stage fund that invests ABCD in a variety of different types, and most importantly focuses on the seed business, while also focusing on data-driven businesses, such as application levels. Why we are very interested in data drivers, such as mobile, cloud is very good, we have more and more data, in some industries, the data level is very large, data can enable us in the current industry to create more opportunities. Data like oil, with this data can cover the entire value chain, now the value is not only the application, not only who has the data, because you do the application is now very easy, but if you have data can do more things, we are only just beginning.

Finally, let's talk about our cooperation with China. From International to China, we hope to be able to help Silicon Valley companies enter China in the Chinese market, and help Chinese enterprises to go to Silicon Valley or other markets. We work with other companies such as Taobao, and we connect China and the world to share technology and concepts. We also have our own business in China, like the impression notes, very happy they also have to do introductions. When they entered China, they had 400,000 active users, now reaching 8 million. We can help them to find people, develop new customers, run, invest and manage to find some local partners. In the area that I mentioned just now, O2O, like hardware, the data in the industry, these have many opportunities in China. I very much hope to work with you to see how to bring these innovations to China.

A moderator, he is not a technical expert, but he said that every century there will be a new technology emerging, replacing the old technology I think we are now entering the era of large data, this is a very good era. Thank you very much!
