China New Society, Hong Kong, February 5 (Xinhua) The Hong Kong High Court has ruled over the hundreds of billions of legacies of the late Hong Kong Chinachem chairman, Nina Wang, but the aftermath of the incident has been unresolved. Chan, a businessman claiming to hold Nina's "2006 Will", was immediately involved in a forgery case after being detained by police for about 30 hours before being released on bail in the early hours of 5th. In response to enquiries, a police spokesman confirmed that the 50-year-old man surnamed Chen, who was arrested for forgery of documents, was released on bail at HK $5 million early 5th and will report to the police in March. In connection with the case, the Commercial Crime Bureau of the police raided a number of locations and seized documents and computers for further examination. The spokesman said no arrests were taken in the operation and the case was still under investigation. According to counsel, since the case has not yet entered the prosecution stage, Chan is still free to leave the country. Chan after the bail formalities left the police station, face looks haggard. He returned to his home on the top of the hill and never showed up. His wife Tan Jianqing on the morning of 5th, and Chan's brother came to the apartment in the afternoon to visit. It is understood that officers from the Commercial Crime Bureau of the police arrested the Chan on 3rd and raided the Acer Digital company, which is a major shareholder, and took away a number of computers and documents. Chan's wife Tan Jianqing 3rd was also taken away for questioning, but soon released. Hong PA Digital has issued a notice confirming that after the judgement of the estate, the police have sent officers to the premises of the company and two directors Zhu Wei-min and Zhou Baiqing for information. But the group assured shareholders that the operation had nothing to do with the company and the two directors. When the deputy Commissioner of Police of Hong Kong, Yam, was asked in the case 4th, there was still much work to be done to disclose the case. Chan has indicated that it will appeal against the dispute. Finish)
