At today's investor briefing, Nintendo president and CEO Rock Iwata announced that Nintendo is developing a tracker that uses radio waves to monitor sleep, requiring users to monitor their sleep quality by placing them on the bedside.

Nintendo's debut in Smart Hardware was developed in conjunction with ResMed, which has accumulated a lot of experience in treating insomnia, before having a similar non-wearable sleep tracker.
