Ninth China Circular Economic Development Forum

The Ninth China Circular Economic Development Forum, hosted by the China News Development Corporation of Xinhua News Agency and the United Nations Environment Programme-Tongji University School of Environment and Sustainable development and sponsored by China Famous magazine of Xinhua News agency, will be held at the Capital Hotel on May 15.

As an important part of China's Beijing International Science and Technology Industry Exposition, China Circular Economy Development Forum is one of the most important and influential events in the field of circular economy and green development, and it is also a platform for displaying and promoting the construction of beautiful China and ecological civilization. The results of successive circular economic forums have played a positive role in promoting the development of circular economy in China.

It is understood that in adhering to the excellent tradition of the forum, the Forum issues more focused, in addition to continuing to explore the circular economy in the forefront of issues, but also pay special attention to "water resources protection and recycling." From the National People's Congress, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Water, Science and technology and other competent departments of the leadership, the relevant United Nations agencies and domestic and foreign well-known circular economic experts and scholars, the development of circular economy of cities, parks and business representatives, will attend the forum and speak freely. Participants will also focus on the topic of "water recycling economy and new urbanization coordinated development", "scientific and technological innovation and drinking water security", "environmental education and China's ecological civilization construction" and other topics to open a deep dialogue.

Industry experts said that the water cycle economy as an important part of the circular economy, in the process of promoting the construction of ecological civilization, the realization of sustainable development plays an irreplaceable role in the construction of new towns, water circulation and sewage related issues are more and more attention by the competent departments. A series of problems such as frequent occurrence of water safety accidents, inadequate protection of water resources and the establishment of urban water circulation system need to be solved. However, because of the concealment and complexity of water pollution itself, it is no less urgent and important than the air pollution control to protect the aquatic resources and establish the water ecological circulatory system.

The Forum will also hold a photo exhibition with the theme of conservation and recycling of water resources.
