The News (reporter Gu Xiaoyu) announced the global layoff plan at the end of April, Nokia finally started the action.  Yesterday, Nokia announced that the first batch of layoffs will be 1400 people, the scope of layoffs only Finland headquarters.  According to Nokia's previous layoffs, the world's largest handset maker will lay off 4000 people by the end of 2012 and transfer about 3,000 employees to Accenture by outsourcing the development and service of the Symbian system, with some 7,000 employees leaving Nokia altogether.  Nokia said it had already completed the first round of consultation negotiations with the Symbian and Meego product research and Development Department at its headquarters in Finland, with the first batch of 1400 employees who could work until the end of the year. In addition, although Nokia's job losses are mainly related to Symbian and Meego system staff, but Nokia also said that because it has just announced in the next 12 months to produce 10 new Symbian, so the relevant departments of Symbian system work will not immediately stop.
