According to a new report by Mintel Mintel, a professional market research consultancy, about 70% of Chinese consumers have booked their travel products online, while nearly one-fifth (19%) of consumers are using mobile phone subscriptions. With the popularity of the Internet, the rise of smartphone and mobile application usage, the first three travel service products booked by mobile terminals are train/car tickets (33%), accommodation (31%) and air tickets (30%). Overall, compared to group travel package products (14%), people buy individual travel products (20%) by mobile terminals.
