Open TTD (OPENTTD, an abbreviation for the open source clone of by Tycoon Deluxe, is an open source version of the MicroProse-issued premium version of the Transport Tycoon (TTD). A c++++ language based open source code strategy business game software. It was developed by TTD (TTD, the abbreviation for Transporttycoon Deluxe, the senior transport Tycoon). The predecessor of TTD is TT. The player acts as the owner of the newly established transportation company, through the construction of railway, road, Bridge, airport, station and other facilities, transport passengers, goods and various natural resources simulation game. The ultimate goal of the game is to maximize profits through transport, after a brutal competition, ultimately defeated rivals, become a transport tycoon.

The second release candidate contains a lot of bugs fixes and is a big step forward to stabilising OPENTTD 1.1. Unlike previous betas and RC1 it does not to offer any new features though.
