Optimal allocation model of cloud computing resources in active distribution network

The active distribution network allows for high permeability distributed power supply, electric vehicle, intelligent home and other controllable components, as well as intelligent meter, synchronous measuring unit, such as the access of monitoring elements. The large access of these components makes the demand for information and computing (Information&computation technology,ict) of information storage and computing (the active distribution network) increasing day by day. As a new mode of commercialization of ICT resources, cloud computing has advantages over traditional ICT resource allocation schemes in both technology and economy. This paper studies the pricing strategy of cloud computing providers, and based on the business model of cloud computing, classifies the demand characteristics of ICT resources for different power system applications in active distribution networks. Based on the above classification and pricing strategy, the optimal allocation model of cloud computing resources in active distribution network is proposed. The results show that the business model of cloud computing can reduce the cost of ICT investment in active distribution network and realize the potential application of computing resources complementation.
