These two deals highlight the rapid integration of the virtualization software market and the importance of a complete set of virtualization tools for VMware and Oracle.

These tools make it easier for organizations to dynamically manage computing resources, including physical infrastructure, to quickly upgrade or reduce computing power, simplify operations, and reduce costs.

Xsigo's software Definition network technology simplifies the cloud infrastructure and data center operations, allowing customers to connect any server to any network as required, improving utilization and software performance while reducing costs.

The combination of Xsigo's network virtualization software and Oracle's existing server virtualization technology will enable Oracle to provide customers with a suite of virtualization technologies that apply to cloud computing.
