Oracle completes acquisition of Sun software giant's foot hardware business

Oracle's acquisition of Sun will pose a threat to past Oracle's partners in hardware such as servers, and even evolve from past cooperation to rivals, industry insiders say. Since announcing the Sun's plan last April, Oracle has been aggressively promoting integrated products, exempting customers from the hassle of consolidating software, hardware, or entrusting third party companies to their own.
