Oracle publishes NoSQL database

Oracle as the world's largest relational database provider, in its product chain, also joined the NoSQL database, and this new database name is very domineering, called NoSQL db.

Oracle's NoSQL Database, one of the components of the Big Data appliance, released on the Oracle Global Encyclopedia on October 4, is a big data appliance that integrates Hadoop, NoSQL Database, Oracle database Hadoop adapters, Oracle database Hadoop loaders, and R language systems.

The following is a brief introduction to the features of NoSQL database:

Key-value storage, where key consists of primary key and two secondary key

Written in Java to support put, delete, and get operations based on Java APIs

• Strong scalability

Support for automatic data slicing strategy based on hash function

Provides intelligent control based on data node topology and access latency to provide optimal data access performance

• Behavioral Predictability

Delivers acid-enabled transactional support and supports transaction-level settings based on global and individual operations

Through b-tree data structure of cache layer and efficient query scheduling mechanism to provide controllable request delay

• High Availability

No single point of failure

Provides built-in and configurable data replication backup mechanisms

Good fault tolerance for single point or multi point faults

Provides disaster recovery of data through data backup across data centers

• Simple management and maintenance

Provides web-based interface management tools in addition to the command line

Provide control control over system and data nodes
