Oracle's strategy for large data is straightforward, using a combination of NoSQL databases and big-appliance to give customers the ability to deal with unstructured mass data directly.

Oracle NoSQL database has already been mentioned in the previous article, and their big data appliance is a new integrated design system that can optimize Oracle NoSQL databases and other Oracle large data products. These include Apache Hadoop, Oracle Data Integration Hadoop application adapters (Oracle Integrator creator Adapter for Hadoop), Oracle Hadoop Loader and Oracle R Enterprise. Oracle Large data machines will be available in the first quarter of 2012.
