copper tier will be used for simple backups of less important databases, while the silver level will add Oracle's data guard to increase additional security. The top-level layer will contain real creator clusters and data Guard. Users can also choose a standard database size from the menu.


Mendelsohn also shows a new self-service configuration tool that is released with 12c. "In a few seconds, you can start and run," Mendelssohn, demonstrating that you can select a database just by clicking a few clicks.
