With SkyDrive consolidation, users can now insert files and pictures directly from SkyDrive to messages. This February, Microsoft executives claimed that the number of outlook.com active accounts reached 60 million. They also said the company would shut down Hotmail and migrate hundreds of millions of users of the service to Outlook.com. Microsoft says about 125 million of the 400 million active users often access their outlook.com accounts through mobile devices.
